The approach intends to establish the factors such as optimized-power, strong, and protected watermarking systems for proper video authentication, with proposing the work and demonstration using FPGA-based simulation of the invisible watermarking insertion. Our system involves two modules: one, which produces the watermark, and the other, which embeds it. Simulations and evaluations are performed in MATLAB/Simulink on the designed system under various attack conditions followed by prototyping on a ‘VERTEX-5’ FPGA using VHDL. In other words, the quality of the watermark video is effectively retained, and the resulting PSNR ranges from 45 to 50 dB.
