The purpose of this research is to study the use of active methodologies derived from the maker movement, such as Hackathons and technological challenges, for the teaching of technology at pre-university levels. Additionally, our goal is to extend these methodologies within the Catalan educational system Drawing on our experience organizing Hackathons and subjects such as Tech Projects in collaboration with the Edgerton Center (MIT), we aim to adapt these practices to make a careful study and identify the optimal approach for this extension. Throughout this document, the research questions are described as well as the methodology and a proposed timeline.
