Analysis of Productivity, Time, and Cost of Baffle Installation Using Mobile Crane

The Kedung Cowek Shooting Range Project in Surabaya experienced a work delay in the second month of the 3-month project plan. The installation of baffles at the shooting range was one of the causes of project delays. Therefore, the heavy equipment was replaced from the Tadano TR-250 M hydraulic rough terrain crane to a crawler crane with a capacity of 31 tons. The study was conducted to determine the productivity, time, and cost of installing steel construction work (baffles) outdoors using the two tools. The research methodology used a quantitative approach, utilizing time-sampling observations to collect data on the operational duration of the mobile crane at the shooting range. The results of the study include the productivity, time, and cost of installing baffles at various heights with the Tadano TR-250 M rough terrain crane with a capacity of 15 tons. The calculation of mobile crane productivity for the installation of type 1 baffles produced 4.32 tons/day for one day. Baffles types 2, 3, and 4 achieved a productivity of 4.56 tons/day in the same period, while baffles type 5 achieved a productivity of 4.8 tons/day. The cost of one rough terrain crane for five days is Rp. 32,899,400,-.
