The waste management facility receives an average of 7,500–7,800 tonnes of waste per day, with a total of 39 tonnes, or about 80% of its capacity. This condition causes the storage location to become full and overflow beyond its holding capacity. The waste embankment located along the riverbanks require retaining reinforcement to hold back the waste mounds. An analysis of the waste embankment was carried out to determine the maximum height of the embankment that can be supported by the underlying soil. The result showed that the maximum embankment height is 5 m with a minimum safety factor of 1,67. Additionally, to prevent river pollution from the waste embankment, a reinforcement plan using sheet piles and geogrid was developed. The planned construction will use Corrugated Concrete Sheet Piles (CCS) with sheet pile dimensions of W-325 A-1000. The geogrid reinforcement will use the Tensar UX1700 type. The analysis results from FEM indicate the structure is safe with a safety factor 0f 2.535.

摘要
