Gable frame structures are one type of structure that can be utilized to accommodate the needs of supporting buildings. Another option is to create a structure with a big center area devoid of any structural elements. Because this kind of construction can be employed as an option when developing long-span structures that are robust, effective, efficient, and affordable, designers are able to fulfill user needs for big spaces. In order to maximize the performance of the rafter that is loaded with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) components, gable frame designs typically have a gentle slope. This means that the size of the profile utilized can be influenced by the gable frame’s slope. The aim of this study is to quantify the internal force resulting from the slope change by analyzing a gable frame with varying roof slopes. Applying the LRFD computation analysis method to the gable frame analysis. The 5°, 10°, 15°, and 20° roof inclination variations are employed. Based on the conducted research, it has been determined that a roof’s greater angle of inclination results in a lesser moment force, shear force, and rafter deflection, but a higher stress value.
