In this study, driven precast concrete (PC) pile capacity derived from dynamic load tests (DLT) through the Case Pile Wave Analysis Program (CAPWAP) was thoroughly examined to assess the method’s relative merits and reliability. A database of pile load test case histories was used for the analysis. The data was divided into drained and undrained loading conditions. The capacity from Davisson and L2 methods, interpreted from static load tests (SLT), was utilized for comparison. Based on the statistical results, pile capacities generated from PDA tests are in good agreement with static load test interpreted capacities for both drained and undrained loading conditions. The analysis provided acceptable COV values ranging from 0.28 to 0.44 and 0.27 to 0.72 for drained and undrained loading conditions, respectively. Furthermore, in undrained loading conditions, graphical results show that dynamic load tests are reliable and acceptable in estimating pile capacity for both end of initial drive (EOD) and beginning of restrike (BOR) stages, wherein the regression analysis result (r-squared) ranges from 0.72 to 0.84. On the other hand, regression analysis provides fair r-squared values of 0.47 to 0.75 in drained loading conditions for the EOD and BOR stages.
