His pulse was 120/min, and his blood pressure was 100/60 mmHg. He was on Noradrenaline and dobutamine infusion. He was being prepared for primary angioplasty. While being shifted to the catheterization laboratory, he collapsed. The cardiac monitor showed ventricular fibrillation (VF).
