Battery energy storage systems have broad application prospects, but energy storage systems composed of a large number of individual batteries in series and parallel are easily affected by the premature aging of individual battery health, resulting in unstable overall performance and low efficiency. This chapter introduces the data characteristics of battery energy storage systems, uses big data analysis methods to analyze the aging rules of battery banks, and provides a basis for the intelligent operation and maintenance and optimized design of energy storage systems.
