Anesthetic Management of Modified Morrow Surgery in a Child with Hypertrophic Obstructive Cardiomyopathy
摘要
A 16-year-old girl with hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) was admitted to our hospital for elective left ventricular outflow tract (LVOT) surgical myectomy. LVOT obstruction will be worsened by increased myocardial contractility, decreased ventricular volume, and lower blood pressure. Therefore, the key points of anesthetic management include inhibiting the myocardial contractility and increasing the preload and afterload to avoid LVOT obstruction.
