According to Xinhua News Agency, on 23 July 2020, General Secretary Xi Jinping said when inspecting the drone control teaching facilities at the Air Force Aviation University and learning about the training of drone controllers, “Now that various types of unmanned aircraft systems have appeared in large quantities, unmanned combat is profoundly changing the face of war. We need to strengthen the unmanned combat research, strengthen the professional construction of unmanned aircraft, strengthen the actual combat education and training, and accelerate the training of unmanned aircraft application and command personnel.”
