In the realm of cybersecurity, multi-factor authentication (MFA) has become a cornerstone for safeguarding digital identities. Traditional methods like biometrics and one-time passwords (OTPs) have been widely adopted but present challenges related to privacy, user convenience, and susceptibility to certain attacks. This paper introduces a novel MFA technique that leverages image priority as an authentication factor. Our method requires users to prioritize images based on personal significance. This approach enhances security by incorporating a cognitive layer that is difficult for attackers to replicate. We compare our method to other MFA techniques, highlighting its advantages in terms of security, usability, and storage requirements. Through comprehensive user studies and security analysis, we demonstrate that our image priority-based authentication system offers a robust and user-friendly alternative to traditional MFA methods.
