Enhanced Chronic Disease Management Through IoT-Enabled Monitoring and Cloud-Based Health Models
摘要
The integration of the Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare has transformed patient monitoring and personalized care by enabling real-time, remote health tracking without the need for constant human oversight. This proposed system utilizes cloud infrastructure to securely store and manage patient data, facilitating easy access and continuous monitoring through platforms such as Thingspeak. This digital health model is particularly beneficial for patients with chronic diseases, who often face challenges in diagnosis and management. By employing IoT sensors connected via MQTT, data is sent to the cloud through an application developed with MIT App Inventor and Android Things. This approach simplifies medication administration, especially during pandemics, as all sensor information is relayed to an Arduino and subsequently updated in the cloud, ensuring timely access to patient data.
