The study tries to examine the influence of AI-based information systems on decision-making processes for long-term planning in both private and public organizations and measures the effects of AI-based information systems on decision-making in the context of short-term planning within private and public organizational frameworks. Accordingly, the survey method was being adopted in which primary source of data collection was being used, and the sample size of 120 respondents as experts and users of AI-based information system from private and public organizations was being approached. The findings underscore a broad acknowledgment of AI's effectiveness in addressing specific short-term planning goals. Importantly, the results of hypotheses testing confirm the significant impact of AI-based information systems on decision-making in both short-term and long-term planning contexts within both private and public organizational frameworks, reinforcing the transformative influence of AI on organizational processes.
