The use of UAVs is common these days, but it still brings with it a number of aspects that can be the subject of research. The practical deployment of UAVs as a device to solve a selected situation or a device to obtain data in the decision-making process is not only about the UAV itself as a machine, but also about related activities. The paper discusses one of the stages in the use of UAVs. It concerns the processing of image outputs from drone photography, which is carried out in the selected software. Agisoft Metashape, Pix4DMapper and DroneMapper are chosen. The authors try to compare some factors of these software, emphasizing the classification of paid versus unpaid. Source data was taken while researching the development of the construction of a cycle path. Agisoft Metashape is most suitable in comparison of price, accuracy, and possibilities of processing.
