Design and Dynamic Performance Analysis of Rail Grinding on Metro Lines with Small Radius Curves
摘要
In response to the issue of severe rail wear in metro line, this paper designs the grinding rail profiles for the left and right rails of small radius curved track, then analyzes the wheel-rail contact and curve negotiation before and after grinding. The main approach is to perform personalized grinding on the outer rail curve and the inner rail curve. After grinding, the contact points in a better contact state. The equivalent conicity of the grinding rail has increased, from 0.085 to 0.104. After grinding, the contact patch area increases, and the contact stress is reduced, indicating that grinding effectively decreases the contact stress and improves the wheel-rail contact relationship. When designed the grinding rail profile, the curve passing performance is enhanced, with a reduction in both the wheel axle lateral force and the derailment coefficient, which is beneficial for reducing wheel-rail wear.
