This study investigates the three-dimensional modeling and failure analysis of the space truss structure in Baja racing frames. Using CATIA software, the cab and frame structures were designed based on Baja competition rules and automotive design principles, with materials specified. Strength assessments, modal analyses, and static stress analyses under various operational conditions were conducted using ANSYS software. The results indicate that the frame exhibits reasonable deformation under bending and twisting conditions, consistent with its structural and material properties. To prevent resonance at specific load frequencies, which could compromise structural integrity, we analyzed stress relief and deformation under different field conditions. The space truss structure maintains efficient and stable performance in extreme off-road environments, satisfying various field conditions and enhancing overall driving comfort. This study offers valuable insights for future design and research of Baja racing car body systems.
