Designing a successful product is contingent upon understanding target users and designing products and services that effectively cater to their needs and preferences. To get a comprehensive overview, designers and organizations tend to use different tools like Lean Canvas, Value Proposition Canvas and Business Model Canvas. The problem lies in the clarity of “when to use” and “how to use” these tools effectively. This paper addresses this issue by analyzing the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of these methods along with industry examples in healthcare infrastructure. We further applied these methods to a deployable mobile Primary Health Center for low-resource settings to find the right context for each tool. Finally, we attempt to display the potential of these individual tools in separation and in conjunction during the new product development phase.
