Today urbanization is rapidly rising to a concerning level. Within the realm of urban development, the process of policymaking often encounters various challenges when it realizes community-oriented designs for urban spaces. The gap between institutional policies and the sense of community among residents can lead to reduced effectiveness in urban development initiatives. To tackle this issue, it becomes imperative to adopt a multifaceted approach. The aim of the paper is on participatory design, with a particular emphasis on highlighting the pivotal role played by designers as integral members of the community who have borne witness to and experienced the evolution of society and neighborhoods. The objective of this paper is to inquire into the concept of social responsibility within the civic realm, with a specific focus on engaging the younger generation in the design and transformation of their city. The paper concludes that physical spaces within urban environments can be revitalized and transformed through vigilant monitoring and redefinition, taking into account the wide spectrum of observations. This approach plays a significant role in creating livable spaces at a micro level and contributes to the broader enhancement of the city, state, country, and even the region. By directing attention towards immediate needs and requirements, individuals can find comfort and satisfaction, a sentiment that ultimately permeates throughout the wider civic landscape.
