The transportation industry has been progressing rapidly with the new emerging technological advancements over the last few years. Some of the notable advancements being Electric Vehicles, Connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) and Hyperloop to name a few. These advancements are majorly related to technology and infrastructural developments. However, when the concept of accessibility and inclusivity is taken into consideration, there is an immense scope for various technologies to be incorporated and experimented with. This paper caters to a potential digital solution—a pre-installed application available in the car’s infotainment system that enables hearing impaired drivers to drive a four-wheeler with maximum efficiency and ease by utilizing haptic and visual feedback for enhanced sensory perception. Any real-time feedback detected by the car's sensors can be conveyed through haptic alerts on the steering wheel or seat, as well as through visual cues being provided on the steering wheel and the infotainment system. This can keep the driver always informed about the happenings in their surroundings. The solution also delves into the learning aspect of driving for the hearing impaired learners, as well as the driving instructors responsible for training them, fostering smoother communication between both the parties, during the learning process. Ensuring a smooth and friction free experience, surpassing limitations of existing solutions with a more intuitive and novel approach. Overall, this holistic solution aims at promoting an accommodative environment for the hearing impaired community instilling them with a sense of confidence and independence along with enhancing road safety, creating an inclusive driving environment. The proposed solution was tested out with the user group, the average score of Systematic Usability Metrics secured was 89 which makes it fall under the A+ range thus validating the concept.
