Passenger drones are currently being developed as a new mode of transportation. The drone cabin interior design plays a significant role in passenger comfort. This paper explores the user experience of a fully autonomous passenger drone cabin interior. It aims to study participant's responses to the functional and emotional aspects of the cabin through a quantitative analysis. An experiment was set up in an immersive environment, and data were collected through a physical user survey. The participants were asked to interact with the cabin following a designed protocol. The Premo framework was used to understand and analyze the emotional aspects of the participants while interacting with the cabin interior. The findings indicated a positive response toward the cabin's design, with high ratings for its look, spaciousness, color scheme, ventilation, and seat comfort. The study emphasizes the importance of a holistic design approach in enhancing passenger experience. These findings highlight the cabin’s success in blending functionality with comfort and aesthetics. This research highlights the significance of a holistic design approach. The insights drawn can be undertaken by stakeholders aiming to craft passenger-centric cabin interiors that prioritize both functionality and emotional resonance.
