Ever since man has come into close contact with wildlife, there have been numerous instances of human-wildlife conflicts, from tiger attacks to snake bites, leading to negative consequences for both humans and animals. Rarely are the real stories of Mowgli's heard, where once both man and wildlife lived peacefully. In India, human-wildlife conflict is a complex and challenging issue due to various factors like urbanization, infrastructure development, overpopulation, habitat overlaps, degradation of wildlife habitats, etc. This research paper carefully showcases the real-time issues and scenarios of Tirumala Temple, the abode of Lord Venkateshwara in Andhra Pradesh, and how communication design solutions can help achieve conservation goals, thereby reducing numerous negative instances. This paper further explores the areas of preventive measures, involving communities, and bringing in multi-stakeholder approaches. Primary first-hand research was conducted to understand the actual condition and demographics of pilgrims and visitors, thereby developing numerous communication design solutions such as route mapping, icon design, and effective signage designs that are self-explanatory, feasible, and multilingual.
