Empowering Young Minds: Engaging Financial Education Through Interactive Games for Indian Schools
摘要
The lack of financial education in early childhood leaves many young adults ill-equipped to manage their finances effectively, as traditional educational methods fail to engage learners and effectively teach essential financial concepts. This study aims to address this gap through a research methodology that involves semi-structured interviews, surveys, and competitive analysis to understand the financial literacy landscape of students (aged 14–22) in India. The study’s findings revealed that 75.6% of participants displayed low levels of financial literacy, with traditional teaching methods being ineffective for most learners. The objective of this study is to address this gap by proposing and designing an interactive game-based learning platform aimed at improving financial literacy among young adults in India, offering a potential solution for more engaging financial education.
