Financial literacy is crucial for managing money effectively, yet only 16.7% of Indian students have a basic understanding of finance, highlighting the need to address this issue urgently. This research focuses on college students (aged 18–24) and their attitudes towards finance. Key questions include whether students want to learn about finance, what they want to learn, how they use existing solutions, and how they prefer to learn. Initially, finance-related topics and the state of financial literacy among students were examined. Competitor analysis looked at current solutions like personal finance apps and educational games. In the first phase of primary research, experts were interviewed. In the second phase, interviews, participant observation, and a card-sorting activity were conducted with students to assess their financial understanding and interests. The card-sorting activity revealed students’ knowledge and interest in various financial topics. The study found that, despite their interest in improving financial literacy, students struggle to access reliable resources due to a lack of awareness. This research aims to provide targeted solutions to enhance financial literacy among college students.
