During the Cold War, developing countries were an independent and important strategic force in world politics and economics, with their international status and influence continuously rising, and the “Third World” became an important intermediary force in the Great power competition. For a period following the end of the Cold War, the dominance of great powers in international affairs became the norm. Although the rapid rise of developing powers such as China, India, and Brazil was particularly eye-catching, the collective activities of developing countries were once silent.
