This chapter explores the emergence of structure within the electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) through the lens of the Quaternary Interpretation of Quantum Dynamics (QIQD). QIQD posits four fundamental properties—Knowledge, Presence, Harmony, and Power—that manifest dynamically within the EMS as wavelength, mass-potential, the speed of light (c), and frequency, respectively. The EMS’s vast range of wavelengths represents a breadth of cosmic-level knowledge, while the constancy of c provides a foundation for harmony within which the variation of space and time can take place. Frequency, directly related to energy through Planck’s equation, reflects the power aspect. The presence aspect is related to the mass-potential resident in the EMS. A proposed equation captures the cumulative contribution of “seeds” (y) to EMS properties (x) through layered dynamics, revealing the deterministic organization within the spectrum. This fourfold structure is further exemplified within the visible light spectrum, where red, yellow, green, and blue are associated with Presence, Power, Harmony, and Knowledge, respectively, demonstrating a fractal connection between color and these fundamental properties.
