Hardware Design and Prototype Implementation to Realize Charging and Discharging Profile of Cells for E-Vehicles
摘要
This paper focuses on design and prototype implementation to understand the charging and discharging profiles of the cells used to form the battery packs for driving the electric vehicles (EV’s). Worldwide, it has been estimated that around 250 million EV will used in transportation sector by the year 2030. In this paper, a charging and discharging circuit is designed to understand the charging and discharging profile of the cells inside a battery pack and a prototype is implemented for studying the behavior of 2 Li-Ion cells for up to 10 cycles. A negligible difference is observed in simulation graph between the two cells.
