Cybersecurity Risks and Legislation in Tourism Sector
摘要
The introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) has significantly improved efficiency and effectiveness in various sectors, including the tourism sector. However, its widespread use has also brought potential risks of cyber-attacks, as the concentration of data in databases can lead to malicious activity. This can compromise personal information and cause computer scams. The tourism sector, which relies heavily on digital platforms like booking trips, hotels, and car hire, is at risk of cyber-attacks. Legislation is in place to regulate activities and reduce the risk of damage related to computer attacks. This article aims to identify and analyze threats to the tourism sector, provide suggestions for prevention or minimization, and study relevant legislation to limit potential risks for companies and citizens.
