Development of a Platform for Relationships and Distance Learning with the Stakeholders of a Higher Education Institution
摘要
Technological innovation has significantly transformed higher education, introducing new forms of interaction and communication. This paper examines the evolution and enhancement of a Higher Education Institution’s (HEI) stakeholder relations platform, emphasizing the addition of a distance learning module for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). The primary objective of this platform is to understand stakeholders’ needs and leverage these insights to deliver targeted training. The integration of the MOOCs module introduces modern functionalities expected from contemporary distance learning platforms, enhancing the HEI’s ability to build relationships and aggregate information from various stakeholders. Initially, the HEI’s platform was designed to facilitate communication, interaction, and continuous feedback collection from its diverse audiences, including students, alumni, teachers, partner companies, and the broader community. The platform’s success in garnering broad acceptance and active participation led to the decision to expand its capabilities to include a MOOCs module. This module is designed to address the identified training needs of stakeholders, thereby extending the HEI’s educational reach and to utilize established relationships to offer relevant courses. By adapting to contemporary educational trends and leveraging synergies from existing relationships, the HEI aims to reinforce its status as a center of educational excellence. This paper will discuss the platform’s evolution, the integration of the MOOCs module, and its impact on strengthening the HEI’s connections with its stakeholders.
