Precision Fusion Smart Agriculture with Analytics and Security
摘要
The advancement of technology in agriculture is crucial for enhancing sustainability and farming efficiency. Soil health, water efficiency, pest control, intrusion monitoring and control, and smart practices are some of the aspects that aim to ensure environmental health and economic viability. Wireless sensors in farming provide real-time data for precise irrigation, efficient resource use, and early pest detection, leading to higher yields, cost savings, and more sustainable practices. They enable remote monitoring and decision-making, improving overall farm productivity. This project under this study aims to provide crop prediction, threat monitoring, and alert systems to improve modern agricultural practices. The system uses predictive analytics in farming, where the crops can be chosen based on the soil quality and weather conditions, leading to increased productivity. When activated, the proposed system transmits the prediction results to the farmer for a while. The other aspect of intrusion detection and monitoring is implemented with real-time data from on-field sensors. The data is analyzed and wirelessly transmitted to the farmers, keeping farmers connected with their agricultural assets. The alert system is critical in protecting crops by enabling timely responses to threats. Sensors detect anomalies like fires or unauthorized access and send immediate alerts to landowners via the LoRa protocol. This approach tries to address the diverse challenges of modern agriculture, supporting the goal of ensuring food security and contributing to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 2.4, which aims to achieve “No Hunger.” The motivation behind these innovative farming solutions is to enhance efficiency, safety, and productivity in agriculture, ensuring a reliable food supply to meet the growing global demand.
