Enhancing Privacy in Healthcare System Using Blockchain and Zero-Knowledge Proofs
摘要
In the healthcare sector, privacy remains a major concern as health information is often regarded as sensitive information. Blockchain technology is considered as a potential solution that has benefits such as data immutability, transparency, and interoperability. However, it need improvements in the protection of patient privacy. This study aims to examine whether the healthcare blockchain system can benefit from the addition of Zero-Knowledge Proofs (ZKPs) in terms of privacy enhancements. ZKPs are very useful for privacy-preserving applications since they allow one to prove the authenticity of data without revealing the actual data. The objective of this study is to enhance the healthcare system through the integration and evaluation of ZKPs in combination with blockchain. This research holds the potential to enhance the healthcare privacy, thus helping to develop patient-centered healthcare systems.
