Nowadays, most of the materials needed for concrete are stored in closed material silos, and the traditional can knocking can not directly obtain the status of the materials in the material silos in real time and accurately, and there will be personnel safety risks, and there will be “warehouse” accidents. On the other hand, if the material condition of the silo can be monitored in real time, it can also provide convenience in production management. Therefore, this paper proposes a monitoring system for the storage bin of concrete mixing plant based on strain level meter, which adopts the structure of resistance micro-strain sensor and single chip controller combined with the host computer to monitor the storage bin of concrete mixing plant. The structure of the bunker system of concrete mixing plant is analyzed, the overall structure scheme is developed, and the resistance micro-strain sensor is designed according to the working environment of concrete mixing plant. The feasibility of the scheme is verified by modeling and simulation.
