Basalt fiber, as a novel high-performance fiber, is one of the most promising fiber materials in the 21st century. Basalt fiber possesses excellent properties, including high temperature resistance, low temperature resistance, high tensile strength, acid and alkali corrosion resistance, and so on. It has broad application prospects in the field of aids to navigation. This paper discusses the application of basalt fiber in the field of aids to navigation. A basalt fiber lamp post structure and a basalt buoy are designed. The finite element analysis of basalt fiber navigation aids is carried out. The strength, stability, and deformation characteristics of aids to navigation are analyzed. This provides a reference for the design and application of basalt fiber in the field of aids to navigation. It provides an important theoretical and practical foundation for the application of basalt fiber in different fields.
