Prediction of Fracture Toughness of TiCN-Based Cermets Based on Data Analysis

TiCN-based metal pottery is an indispensable key material for manufacturing tools and moulds. Fracture toughness (KIC) is an important property of TiCN-based cermet, and carbide additive is the key factor affecting KIC. In this paper, through the collection of a large number of experimental data and the experience of the research group, the fracture toughness of TiCN cermet is predicted. The experimental results show that the prediction model is close to the experimental value, and the model can be used to predict the fracture toughness of cermets. The purpose of this study is to provide an important reference for the study of toughening of TiCN-based cermets.
