Study on Comprehensive Evaluation of Shale Reservoirs Based on Rock Fragments Scanning
摘要
Shale reservoirs in Qinghai Oilfield are characterized by deep burial and complex lithology, how to accurately evaluate the compressibility of reservoirs is the key to efficient reservoir development. Due to the challenges of difficult coring in deep reservoirs, high core fragmentation rate, and difficulty in conducting standard size rock samples, the technology of micro-nano mechanical testing for rock fragments has been used to achieve the goal of multiple efficient, high-precision, and automated testing of rock fragments mechanical parameters. This article is based on rock fragments scanning technology to obtain mechanical parameters of continuous well sections; then calculate the geological and mechanical results of the entire well section using logging data, and combine them with the results of rock fragments scanning to perform dynamic static conversion and parameter correction; Finally, based on the compressibility calculation model, the compressibility index of the entire well section is obtained, which will provide an important theoretical basis for the fine fracturing design and efficient reservoir stimulation.
