Youshashan Oilfield is located in the western southern area of Qaidam Basin, Qinghai Province. The reservoir is shallow buried, long distributed well section, thin, multiple, scattered, mixed and heterogeneous, unstable in plane oil sand body development, poor reservoir connectivity. By sorting out the geological characteristics and reservoir lithology and physical characteristics of Youshashan reservoir, the law of fracture initiation and extension is studied. Based on the establishment of a three-dimensional geological model in this area, the fracturing model is established for oil groups III and IV, and the fracture morphology is studied in combination with the location of a single well in the well pattern, well spacing, formation pressure, layer thickness and the relationship between upper and lower water layers. The research shows that regional structure, reservoir lithology and construction parameters have great influence on fractures, and the fracture strike is seriously controlled by faults. In recent years, in view of the deterioration of physical properties of Wells with extended edge production capacity, the corresponding relationship between water injection has not been completely established, and fracture network fracturing has been continuously carried out, and large displacement, large liquid volume and composite fracturing technology have been adopted to increase the complexity of fractures and increase the output of a single well. In the past five years, the output of a single well has reached 2.3 tons/day.
