Research and Application of Clean Sulfur Removal Workover Fluid
摘要
In response to the problems often encountered in the current on-site well workover process, such as string corrosion, formation pollution, and the challenges posed by highly hazardous hydrogen sulfide wells, a clean sulfur removal workover fluid has been developed. The fluid consists of 0.3% sulfur remover A, 0.6% sulfur remover B, and add other oil layer protection additives appropriately. It possesses all the advantages of a solid-free formula and the main desulfurizing agent exhibits synergistic effects with other additives, providing significant reservoir protection. The density and viscosity of this formula are comparable to that of clean water, and the corrosion rate is between 0.006 and 0.007 mm/a. It also exhibits good compatibility with formation water under different temperature conditions and shows high anti-swelling properties, with a core permeability recovery rate of up to 80%. At the same time, it also has excellent anti-hydrogen sulfide performance, and the absorption rate of hydrogen sulfide is more than 90% at 50 ℃. Compared to conventional alkaline workover fluids, it shows significant improvements in corrosion resistance, resistance to hard water, safety, environmental protection, and well improve oil well recovery rate. It has been successfully applied in Dagang Oilfield on three wells, with an average recovery period of 2 days and remarkable reservoir protection effects.
