Study on Sand Production Risk Evaluation of C Gas Storage in DQ Oilfield
摘要
In response to the issues of shallow burial depth, loose rock cementation, and high sand production risk in the C gas storage reservoir of the DQ Oilfield, an evaluation study on sand production risk was conducted through the analysis of reservoir rock mechanics and sand production simulation experiments. The sand production risk under different production conditions was assessed by combining the sand production prediction model. The research showed that the strength of the reservoir rock ranged from 7.3 to 11.37 MPa, and after experiencing 50 cycles of alternating loads, the strength decreased to around 3.48 MPa, with a reduction of up to 69%. Based on the experimental results, the damage factor of rock under alternating loads was determined, and a dynamic prediction model for the critical sand production pressure difference was established. Based on the sand production prediction model, the analysis of sand production risk in different production conditions of the C gas storage reservoir showed that the critical sand production pressure difference decreases with the increase of injection and production pressure differentials and cycles in the gas storage reservoir. To ensure no sand production within 30 cycles of injection and production in the C gas storage reservoir, the injection and production pressure differential should be controlled within 3 MPa, which is consistent with the results of the sand production simulation experiments. The research findings provide important basis for the selection of completion methods and optimization of production parameters in the C gas storage reservoir, ensuring the long-term safe operation of the gas storage reservoir. It also serves as a reference for the evaluation of sand production risk in similar gas storage reservoirs both domestically and internationally.
