Carbonate rocks in the southern part of the Sichuan Basin belong to reservoirs with low porosity and permeability, low formation pressure coefficient, and high acid fracturing construction pressure, short effective acid etching distance, and limited transformation volume. To solve this problem, this article proposes an efficient acid fracturing technology mode, which is mainly divided into three stages. Firstly, based on logging data and rock parameters, finely understand the reservoir and classify the reservoir types; Secondly, the integration of geological engineering clarifies the main controlling factors of post fracturing production capacity, establishes the parameter requirements for acid fracturing of different types of reservoirs, and finally, establishes acid fracturing technology and parameter templates to achieve precise acid fracturing of carbonate rocks in the southern Sichuan Basin. This article optimizes acid fracturing technology and mainly forms three types of efficient acid fracturing technology modes. Technical Mode 1: Fractured and vuggy reservoirs adopt an acidizing mode that mainly removes near wellbore pollution and activates natural fractures near the wellbore. The construction displacement is 2–3 m3/min, and the acid volume is 100 m3. Technical Mode 2: The fractured reservoir adopts an alternating injection acid fracturing mode that takes into account both acid corrosion fracture length and flow conductivity. The construction displacement is 6–7 m3/min, the total liquid volume is 1000 m3, and the acid liquid accounts for 40–60%. The alternating stages are 2 levels. Technical mode three: The porous reservoir adopts a composite acid fracturing and sand adding mode of creating long fractures and improving the long-term conductivity of fractures. The construction displacement is 5–6 m3/min, the total liquid volume is 800 m3, the acid liquid proportion is 30–40%, the alternating stages are 2 levels, and the sand adding amount is 30 t. The high-efficiency acid fracturing technology model has been applied 11 times in carbonate reservoirs in the southern Sichuan Basin, with multiple wells achieving high production, providing technical support for conventional gas exploration and development in the southern Sichuan Basin. The next step will be to expand its application in carbonate reservoirs in the southern Sichuan Basin.
