Yingxiongling shale oil is located in the middle section of Yingxiongling tectonic belt in the west of Qaidam Basin. The E32 shale oil reservoir in this area develops high-quality source rocks. The reservoir depth is 2400–3800 m, the effective source rock thickness is about 800 m, and the area is up to 1.26 × 104k m2. The shale oil in this area has the unique engineering geological characteristics of huge thickness and multi-box body, high stress, strong heterogeneity, high ash cloudiness, high frequency cycle, high pore pressure and high water shortage. According to the characteristics of geological engineering, this paper has carried out research of geomechanical modeling, reservoir comprehensive quality evaluation, transformation scheme and countermeasures, and the geology-engineering integration of geology-engineering in Yingxiongling mixed accumulation reservoir is formed. The research results are as follows: (1) Establish a large box model of 50 m*50 m*1 m in the favorable area of well control. The iterative model ensures that the depth error of the exploration well is about 10 m. (2) A double dessert quality evaluation method based on the evaluation results of reservoir quality (RQ) and completion quality (CQ) is formed, different parameter thresholds are used for fine evaluation in different layers to reduce the difference of attributes in the section and achieve the purpose of uniform transformation. (3) Aiming at the characteristics of high gray cloudiness, strong heterogeneity, high frequency cycle of lamina, interlayer, high stress difference and high stress gradient, adopt “Inverse compound + limited perforation + large displacement + variable viscosity slick water high strength continuous sanding” volume fracturing technology. The above research results have been applied in the field of 21 wells/435 sections/2770 clusters of horizontal well volume fracturing in Yingxiongling area, there are 267,000 t of crude oil in cumulative production, which realizes the effective use of shale oil in this area.
