Comparison and Application of A New Type of Mixed Water Volume Regulating Valve

This paper focuses on the problem of low accuracy in regulating the mixed water volume during oil production, and introduces the structural characteristics and working principle of a new type of mixed water volume regulating valve. The author compared the application of the new and the existing mixed water volume regulating valve in oilfields development, and analyzed the energy-saving effects and advantages of the new type of mixed water volume regulating valve. A field experiment is designed and implemented. Firstly, the reasonable lower limit of the mixed water volume of the existing and the new type of mixed water volume regulating valve under different pressures were measured. The energy-saving effects and advantages of the new type of mixed water volume regulating valve are analyzed by calculating the mixed water saving volume and the water saving rate. The experiment has proven that the new type of mixed water volume regulating valve has great promotion value and has been widely used in oilfield production.
