GoFarmers: A Mobile and Web Application for Post-disaster Agricultural Rehabilitation Process of Crops in San Miguel, Bulacan

Farming is a vital component of the agricultural sector in San Miguel, Bulacan, with farmers playing a significant role in crop production. This study introduces GoFarmers, a mobile and web application designed to streamline the post-disaster agricultural rehabilitation process for crops in San Miguel, Bulacan. The study objectives include data collection on crop damage, monitoring post-disaster assessment forms and crop rehabilitation aid, scheduling aid distribution at the Barangay level, and providing tools for farmers to submit damage assessments and track progress. Additionally, proponents will develop web modules for municipal and provincial agricultural offices. The study employs a descriptive methodology to estimate post-disaster damage in the farm landscape of San Miguel, Bulacan, focusing on crop rehabilitation. Overall, GoFarmers connects farmers and agricultural stakeholders, improving resilience and efficiency. Recommendations include enhancing the user interface, automating assessment processes, and establishing clear communication protocols among stakeholders to facilitate smoother information flow and report handling.
