Cloud computing has emerged as a powerful technology with the potential to revolutionize various industries, including education. This research paper examines the impact of cloud computing on education by conducting a thorough review of recent literature, leveraging data from journal articles and white papers published since 2015. By analyzing the diverse range of cloud services and deployment models, including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS), as well as public, private, hybrid, and community clouds, the study explores key cloud computing features, such as on-demand self-service, rapid elasticity, and pay-per-use pricing. The paper critically reviews the adoption of major cloud providers, including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, in the education sector. Furthermore, the study identifies potential challenges, such as security, privacy, and compatibility issues, and proposes future research directions to address these concerns and explore emerging cloud technologies.
