Enhancing the Gain of Rectangular Microstrip Patch Antenna for Biomedical Applications
摘要
This paper aims to improve a rectangular microstrip patch antenna’s gain for biomedical applications. Microstrip antennas’ small size, low weight, and simplicity of integration make them a popular choice for medical equipment. Their restricted gain, however, makes it difficult for signals to be transmitted effectively in medical settings. This study suggests using advanced substrates and modifying the patch geometry to increase gain. Performance is analyzed through simulations, and the findings show a notable improvement in antenna gain, which makes it more appropriate for a range of biomedical applications, including wireless patient monitoring and diagnostics.
