This paper presents an efficient antenna geometry with a textile substrate for wearable applications. The proposed antenna has a loss tangent of 0.024. The material used is jeans, with a dielectric constant measured to be 2 and has a typical thickness of 0.254 mm. The dimensions and the material properties of the proposed antenna are very much suitable for wearable antenna applications. Further, the antenna is simulated and analysed in terms of several radiation parameters like the frequency response plots of S11 and VSWR, 2D radiation plots and the 3D radiation plots. The simulated antenna expressed excellent gain with dual band features.
