Cold and Beam-Wave Interaction Analysis for Ka Band 500 W Helix Travelling Wave Tube for Earth Station
摘要
Cold and beam-wave interaction analysis of Periodic Permanent Magnet (PPM) focused Ka-band (27–31 GHz) 500 W ground TWT for satellite uplink application having saturated gain >50dB, electronic efficiency >17% and overall efficiency >50% are presented in this paper. This paper deals with the design and simulation procedure of TWT components mainly focused on electron gun, slow wave structure and multi-stage depressed collector.
