Progress and Research Direction of Enhanced Oil Recovery Technology in Bohai Oilfield
摘要
Bohai Oilfield is an important offshore crude oil production base in China. Through the orderly promotion of new technology research and development, testing, and promotion, the ineffective development situation of Bohai Oilfield has been effectively reversed, and the oilfield development effect has been significantly improved. The Bohai Oilfield achieved an annual crude oil production of 30.13 million tons in 2021, successfully building the country’s largest crude oil production base. During this period, Bohai gradually developed a set of enhanced oil recovery technologies through continuous research and development. This mainly includes: ① key technologies for precise description of Bohai continental sedimentary oil and gas reservoirs, ② three-dimensional meshless fine modeling and quantitative prediction of remaining oil, ③ optimization and deployment technology of three-dimensional well network under dual element main control, and ④ intelligent flow field control technology based on equivalent characterization of injection production units. This effectively guarantees the efficient development of Bohai Oilfield. Focusing on the goal of significantly improving the recovery rate of Bohai Oilfield in the future, combined with the current development status, we will continue to deepen our technical research and development in the following five areas: ① Fine reservoir description and potential tapping technology for Shuanggao Oilfield, ② Key technologies for controlling water and stabilizing oil during high water cut period, ③ Key technologies for improving the recovery rate of new chemical flooding, ④ Key technologies for efficient development of special and ultra heavy oil thermal recovery, and ⑤ Key technologies for economically effective development of ultra-low permeability reservoirs. Further improve the recovery rate of Bohai Oilfield, ensure national energy security, and accelerate the construction of world-class enterprises.
