Evaluation and Application of Polymeric Microspheres Profile Control and Flooding Performance in Low-Permeability Reservoirs
摘要
The special characteristics of low-permeability reservoir, the difficulty of development has been gradually increasing. The research and development of deep profile control and flooding displace technology in oil reservoirs is of great significance for improving reservoir development efficiency and enhancing oil recovery. The polymer microsphere deep profile control and flooding technology have attracted attention due to its ability to effectively improve reservoir fluid suction profiles and enhance oil recovery. This paper investigates the preparation and performance evaluation of a polymer microsphere. The experimental results show that the polymer microspheres have good characteristics of small particle size, water dispersion, migration, and strong stability, which are suitable for the development of low-permeability reservoirs. In the field of oilfield chemical agents, polymer microspheres can form cross-linked water-soluble polymers with acrylamide as the main body and comonomers as auxiliary. These polymer microspheres are well dispersed in the aqueous phase, but their particle size increases over time due to hydration expansion properties. Experiments have shown that polymer microspheres exhibit good stability under baking and shearing conditions. Polymer microspheres can effectively block the high permeability channel and reduce the permeability to form water injection resistance. In addition, polymer microspheres also have salt resistance, temperature resistance, and shear resistance, which is suitable for high salinity formation water conditions. Polymer microspheres have shown broad application prospects for the application of regulating and flooding the W reservoir in the JY oilfield. In the practical application of the W reservoir, polymer microsphere injection measures effectively optimize the water injection effect and improve the water displacement efficiency. The implementation of polymer microspheres reduces the water content at the production end to control the decline rate and keep the formation energy pressure stable. The application of polymer microspheres provides strong support for the efficient development of W reservoirs, as well as solid support for enhancing oil recovery and improving the development effect of low-permeability reservoirs.
