Experimental Research on Composite Gel Plugging and N2 Foam Flooding for EOR in Fractured Reservoirs
摘要
Due to the significant difference in permeability between fracture and matrix, the recovery of fractured reservoirs was poor during water injection development. Injected water tended to flow preferentially along fractures, leading to water channeling in oil wells. This article was based on the development of fractured reservoirs in the Gaoqianbei Block of Jidong Oilfield. The block had entered a high water cut period (over 90%) of water injection development. The idea of combining gel plugging with N2 foam flooding to reduce water channeling was proposed in this article. According to reservoir condition, gel system with main agent − 8%, cross-linking agent 0.15% and initiator 0.02% and N2 foam system with SDS -0.3% and HPAM -0.3% were screened out. According to the casting thin section of reservoir core, general heterogeneous pore model and fracture heterogeneous pore model were made respectively. Through micro displacement experiments, the synergistic mechanism of N2 foam flooding and gel plugging was clarified. 3D physical simulation experiment showed that the combination of “ N2 foam flooding + gel plugging” had a good effect of water control and oil increase, and the oil recovery of the experimental model was 3.78% higher than that of the previous N2 foam flooding. By analyzing the change of oil saturation after different measures, the numerical simulation showed that N2 foam flooding after gel plugging was conducive to improving water absorption and liquid production profile, further reducing the impact of fracture, and expanding the scope of subsequent injected water. After the implementation of the measure, the effect of adjacent wells was significant, and the overall development effect of the 5-spot well pattern was good.
