In this chapter, we introduce the semantic channel capacity and semantic rate-distortion. We use the maximum up semantic mutual information to indicate the former. Similarly, the minimum down semantic mutual information is used to present the latter. These two measures are the theoretic limitations of semantic communication.

摘要

In this chapter, we introduce the semantic channel capacity and semantic rate-distortion. We use the maximum up semantic mutual information to indicate the former.
