As 5G-native technologies and devices gradually mature, they lay a foundation for the integration of 5G with diverse industries. With the maturity of relevant technologies, 5G + X will progressively change the original industry systems and equipment. Such transformation will in turn promote the continuous optimization and evolution of 5G-native technologies and the industries and build a mature 5G + X industry system. This will bolster general industry capabilities for large-scale application, empowering digital transformation of the industries. Figure 12.1 shows the convergence development path for 5G and other technologies.
